The Prosecutor General’s Office seized 17,800 railcars belonging to enterprises of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus as part of a criminal investigation into the fact of deliberate tax evasion in especially large amounts.

It has been established that there are railcars on the territory of Ukraine that were used in committing a crime in the sphere of economic activity and which were arrested by the court as instruments of crime.
The issue of confiscation of arrested railcars to the state revenue is being resolved. The pre-trial investigation continues and is being carried out by the Bureau of Economic Security.
