About 40,000 Ukrainians leave Ukraine every day, and this is more than entering the country.

At the same time, almost 20% of those who left do not intend to return to Ukraine in the near future.
“According to Polish researchers, the average age of Ukrainian refugees is 36 years. That is, they are women of the most able-bodied and reproductive age. How many of them will return will depend on the duration of the war.”
Experts predict that if the war ends relatively soon, Ukraine will lose approximately 500-600 thousand people, if the war continues, as some predict, for several years, then these losses may increase to five million.
“Such an outflow threatens Ukraine with a rapid ageing of the population, a labor shortage and an even greater burden on the pension system.”
“A number of countries have already begun to fight for the working hands of Ukrainian refugees, especially hunt for nurses,” experts say.
Earlier it was reported that the European Union could help Ukraine pay pensions to citizens who received the status of temporary protection in the EU countries.
According to the UN, the number of refugees from Ukraine who received the status of temporary protection in European countries amounted to 3.407 million. Several million more citizens are abroad without refugee status.
