The Netherlands allocated a €200 million loan for Ukraine

The Kingdom of the Netherlands allocated a 200 million euro loan for Ukraine, which will be spent on the day-to-day needs of the country’s public sector, including the payment of salaries.

“Continuing our efforts to solve Ukraine’s most urgent financial needs, I am announcing today that we have provided another 200 million euros in financial assistance. This is a loan that will be directed to a special IMF account. The money will be spent on the everyday needs of Ukrainian authorities, such as salaries for civil servants, school teachers, medical workers.”

According to her, this will be another contribution of Amsterdam to the previous financial support of Kyiv, which currently totals 140 million euros.

She emphasized that the Netherlands attached great importance to the problem of impunity and supports the punishment of Russian war criminals who commit crimes in Ukraine.

“As a country on the territory of which the International Criminal Court is located, we are ready to support Ukraine in its efforts to achieve justice and accountability for those who committed war crimes,” the representative of the Dutch government emphasized.
