Yesterday, the ATO forces foiled a breakthrough of militants to Yasynuvata and drove the terrorists from the city.
Spokesman of the NSDC Information-Analytical Center Andriy Lysenko told a briefing, Ukrinform reports.
“Yesterday, ATO forces repulsed an attempt of the militants to break through under the settlement of Yasynuvata, Donetsk region, and drove the enemy back a few kilometers from the city,” Lysenko said.
According to him, the militants were operating under the cover of artillery and fire from Grad units.
