State-run Ukreximbank posted UAH 14.131 billion, or $561 million, in loss in 2015, which was 25.6% up on 2014 loss estimated at UAH 11.247 billion, or $446 million.
Ukreximbank`s annual loss was mainly due to depreciation estimated at UAH 13.294 billion and a UAH 6.824 billion difference in exchange rates of forex operations, which was partly compensated with yields on investment securities, the bank said in an updated annual report on its website.
Memo. Ukreximbank is a wholly owned state bank. It has been operating on Ukraine`s market since 1992. It is one of the largest banks on Ukraine`s market.
