The Cabinet of Ministers will table in parliament a draft state budget for 2015 and a number of bills needed for budget reform by September 15.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said this at a government meeting on Wednesday, Ukrinform’s correspondent reported.
“We held almost the last meeting regarding the preparation of a package of budget reform and the introduction of amendments to the tax and budget legislation. As envisaged by the constitution, the government will submit by the 15th [of September] the [draft] law of Ukraine on the state budget, which clearly stipulates billions [of hryvnias] in defense spending, as well as additional [draft] laws that conceptually change Ukraine’s budget and tax policy,” Yatseniuk said.
He expressed hope that the Verkhovna Rada would meet to vote on these bills.
