Spanish Foreign Minister arrived in Kyiv to announce military aid to Ukraine

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain Jose Manuel Albares wrote on his Twitter on November 2, 2022, that he had arrived in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv.

“I have just arrived in Kyiv to convey Spain’s commitment and support to the people and government of Ukraine in the defense of its sovereignty, peace and freedom; as well as to support and thank the staff of the Spanish Embassy in Ukraine for their work,” Jose Albares noted on Twitter.

At the same time, CNN, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain, reports that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, Jose Manuel Albares, arrived in Kyiv to hand over 30 ambulances to Ukraine. It is noted that his visit to Kyiv was previously kept a secret.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain, donated ambulances are specially equipped to serve pregnant women in Ukraine.

Jose Albares will visit the places affected by the latest Russian missile attacks and honor the memory of Ukrainians who died in the war. He is also expected to meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba and the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
