On September 17, 2022, it became known, that Spain, in response to the request of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov, transferred medical equipment to Ukraine, as well as, ammunition.

Spain sent Ukraine five transport planes with ammunition for large-caliber artillery systems.
“The Kingdom of Spain sent 5 transport aircraft of the Spanish Air Force with ammunition for large-calibre artillery systems to Ukraine.”
It is noted that the last of the five aircraft from the Spanish Forces took off from the air base in Madrid on September 9.
Four previous planes with weapons took off from the base in Rota. In total, Spain handed Ukraine 75 pallets of large-caliber ammunition.
In addition, in response to the request of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, Spain handed Ukraine medical supplies and 20 trucks with winter equipment.
Spain sent an air defense system, ammunition and armored vehicles to Ukraine in August 2022.
