The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on October 7, 2022, that the Ministry of Defense of Spain provided another batch of aid to the Ukrainian military: eight armored vehicles, two ambulances and five tons of medical supplies.

The Ministry of Defense of Spain officially announced that “The delivery is intended to ensure the priority needs of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in material, technical and medical means.”
Vehicles and medical supplies for Ukraine were provided by the Army, Navy and the Emergency Military Unit (UME) of Spain. Aid transportation was organized by the Projection Support Group (GAPRO), a unit that provides logistical support to operations and exercises both in Spain and in operations abroad.
The Minister of Defense of Spain, Margarita Robles, was present at the departure of a land convoy with aid from the Spanish city of Alcala de Henares.
Spain transferred more than 200 million euros to the European Peace Fund for Ukraine.
In general, the aid consists of field artillery, fuel, armored vehicles, missile systems, medical, and winter equipment. In addition, Ukrainian troops in Spain began to undergo basic training.
