The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has received another evidence of the involvement of Russian servicemen in the fighting on the territory of Ukraine, the SBU press center reported on Monday.
“As part of counter-intelligence measures the SBU received another evidence of the active participation of Russian servicemen in illegal paramilitary and armed groups on the territory of Ukraine, who oppose the legitimate authorities and forces involved in the ATO,” the report reads.
In particular, in Luhansk region the SBU agents obtained documentaries about the participation in the activities of the terrorist organization “Luhansk People’s Republic” of Russian military Grigorov.
In his military card, which is posted on the official website of the SBU, it is noted that Grigorov I.V., 1972, is the commander of BMD 1 unit (airborne combat vehicle). The mark indicates his admission to military service July 7, 2014.
“This is another evidence that Russia recruits and sends its military for combat operations on the territory of Ukraine – against Ukrainian citizens,” the report reads.
All the evidences have been attached to the criminal proceedings.
