Russians tried to capture Kyiv with the help of maps of 1987, – Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine

The Russian military was not ready for the war. This is evidenced, in particular, by the fact that they tried to enter Kyiv with maps ерфеmore than 30 years old.

“I can say that fortunately for us, we have a clear idea of how they (The Russian Federation – Ed.) were prepared for the war – not at all. And it gave us some advantages. We in the National Security and Defense Council have such a trophy, as the maps on which they were to enter the territory of Kyiv through the Kyiv region. These are old maps – the maps of 1987” Danilov said.
