Russians shot evacuation buses in the Kharkiv region, civilians were burned alive: photos

The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine noted on January 25, 2023, that Russian troops shot evacuation buses in the Izyum district, the Kharkiv region (east of Ukraine) on April 14, 2022. At least nine civilians have been killed, they were burned alive in the bus.

“According to the investigation, on April 14, 2022, in the village of Borova, Izyum district, Russian soldiers shot two evacuation buses with civilians. It was the second day of occupation of the settlement,” emphasized the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine added that civilians were going to their homes in the Luhansk region. Russian military began to shoot from a large-calibre machine gun and small arms at buses with people.

“So far, the death of at least nine people has been established, they were burned alive in the bus. It was also established that thirteen people survived and were taken to a local hospital,” informed the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

In May, all the killed were buried by a resident of Borova. On January 24, 2023, prosecutors together with police investigators conducted an exhumation. The remains of the bodies have been sent for forensic examinations.
