Russians shelled the Kharkiv region with mortars and rocket launchers, a man was injured

The Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Synyehubov reported that the Russian army shelled the border and front-line settlements of the Chuhuiv and Kupyansk districts of the Kharkiv region on April 9, 2023. Residential buildings were damaged, and a man was injured.

“At least 15 private houses were damaged by shelling in the village of Kurylivka, Kupyansk district. There is also the destruction of a residential building in the village of Petropavlivka. A 36-year-old civilian man was injured as a result of mortar shelling in the village of Karaichne, Vovchansk community, Chuhuiv district. He is hospitalized in serious condition,” informed the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

According to Oleh Synyehubov, a forest fire broke out near the village of Podoly, Kupyansk district, due to a hit from a Grad multiple rocket launcher on the territory of the forest.

The Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration also noted that the mine danger remains high in the Kharkiv region.

“In Snizhkivka village, Izium district, a 38-year-old civilian man stepped on a PFM-1 anti-infantry high-explosive mine in his garden. He was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds,” added Oleh Synyehubov.
