Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration noted that on February 20, 2023, Russian troops shelled populated areas of the Donetsk region (east of Ukraine) with artillery. As a result of Russian attacks, one civilian was killed.

“One person was killed and two were injured in the village of Ivanopillia of the Kostiantynivka community as a result of shelling of the village by the Russian army,” informed the head of the Donetsk regional military administration.
Pavlo Kyrylenko also noted that during the day, Russians launched artillery strikes on Toretsk, and the village of Novyy Komar was fired from the multiple-launch rocket systems. Avdiivka was also shelled with artillery and rockets.
“Residential buildings, a school, cars, shops, a coffee shop and industrial enterprises were destroyed or damaged by the fire of Russian troops,” added the head of the Donetsk regional military administration.
