Russians shelled 11 settlements in the Donetsk region, there are civilian casualties

The communication department of the police of the Donetsk region of Ukraine noted that Russian troops shelled 11 settlements in the Donetsk region (east of Ukraine) and carried out 21 fire attacks in 24 hours on October 14, 2022.

The cities of Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk, the town of Ocheretyne, the villages of Druzhba, Karlivka, Lastochkyne, Maksymilianivka, Solovyove, and Khromove in the Donetsk region were affected as a result of Russian shelling.

“Russian military used “Grad” multiple rocket launchers and artillery. 30 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged, 26 of which were private houses.”

Missile strikes on the city of Krasnohorivka and the village of Maksymilianivka were recorded. Russian projectiles hit the residents’ houses, there are injured civilians.

Russian troops used artillery in the city of Bakhmut. 17 private houses were damaged by Russian shells, and there were dead and injured.

The police and Security Service of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
