Russians hit with missiles railway station in central Ukraine, at least 22 people died: photos

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine said on August 24, 2022, that Russian invaders continue to attack civilians of Ukraine. They hit with the missiles railway station in the Dnipropetrovsk region (central Ukraine), 22 people died, including 2 children and 22 people were injured.

“Russian rocket attack on the village of Chaplyne in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the afternoon, an enemy missile destroyed a private house. Under the rubble were 3 people – a woman and 2 children. A woman and a 13-year-old boy were rescued by residents. The body of the deceased 11-year-old boy was taken out from under the rubble by rescuers.”

Later, the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine reported another attack on the village.

“Later, the enemy once again attacked the village – first with one missile, and then with three more. The first attack damaged outbuildings of the railway, and the next – hit the railway station. Because of the impact, a fire broke out in 5 passenger cars. 25 people were killed [ed.] and 22 injured. Rescuers localized the fire, and search operations are currently underway.”
