Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the joint press center of the Operational Command Pivden (South) informed that Russia received a new batch of Iranian kamikaze drones and it used them to attack the territory of Ukraine at night on April 20, 2023.

“The Russian army attacked the Mykolaiv and Odesa regions of Ukraine with new kamikaze drones of the Shahed 136 type. It is noted that Russian troops will use the Shahed drones to maintain a state of terrorism and tension among the local population,” said the head of the joint press center of the Operational Command Pivden.
The Operational Command Pivden also reports that the Russians’ missile reserves are reduced to a minimum, which prompts them to use Iranian drones more often.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added that Ukrainian Air Force destroyed 21 Russian Shahed drones out of 26 launched by Russians on April 20, 2023.
In particular, tonight, Ukrainian military shot down 6 attack UAVs, which the Russian army directed at the Dnipropetrovsk region.
