Oleksandr Starukh, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration said that Russian forces launched a rocket attack on the suburbs of Zaporizhzhia (south of Ukraine) on the night of December 6, 2022. As a result of the shelling, private houses were damaged.

“Russian troops launched a rocket attack on the outskirts of the regional center at night. One of the rockets hit the territory of the Stepnyan territorial community. Critical infrastructure facilities and residential buildings were damaged. According to preliminary information, people were not injured,” noted the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
According to the regional military administration, Russian soldiers are concentrating their main efforts on holding the occupied borders in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
On December 4, the local authorities received 11 reports about the destruction of houses (apartments) of citizens, and infrastructure objects as a result of Russian shelling.
