Russians attacked the Kherson region with guided aerial bombs from the Black Sea

Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the joint press center of the Operational Command Pivden (South) said on April 2, 2023, that Russian troops shelled the Kherson region (south of Ukraine) using guided aerial bombs from the Black Sea. In this way, they are trying to put pressure on the local population.

“During the last day, Russians from the Black Sea area attacked the Kherson area with aerial bombs. Russian soldiers hit the agricultural land, there were no casualties. Russian troops put pressure on the locals because the Kherson region is an agrarian region, where land works are now starting,” informed the head of the joint press center of the Operational Command Pivden (South).

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration added that Russian military carried out 60 shellings of the Kherson region, and Kherson was shelled 6 times on April 1, 2023.

“Unfortunately, there are victims among the civilian population – 1 civilian was killed, and 2 were injured,” said Oleksandr Prokudin.
