Russian warship “Admiral Makarov” on fire after hit by Ukrainian missile

Ukrainian anti-ship cruise missile “Neptune” hit the Russian missile frigate “Admiral Makarov”.

The explosion with further burning occurred on board the Russian frigate, which is located near the Snake island in the Black Sea. This is “Admiral Makarov”, a warship equipped with modern air defense equipment and armed with Kalibr cruise missiles.

Oleksiy Goncharenko said that the ship had been hit by Ukrainian attacks and was “badly damaged”, but remained afloat for now.
