Russian troops shelled Ukraine’s capital, there are civilian casualties: photos

The mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klychko reported that Russian soldiers shelled a non-residential building in the Holosiivskyi District of Ukraine’s capital on January 26, 2023. According to preliminary information, 2 civilians were injured and 1 was killed.

“As a result of a rocket hitting a non-residential building in the Holosiivskyi District, there is currently information about one killed and two injured civilians. The injured were hospitalized by medics,” wrote the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klychko.

The Kyiv City Military Administration added that a man of 55 years old was killed as a result of the fall of part of a Russian rocket.

Earlier, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Serhii Popko noted that Russian troops launched 15 cruise missiles in the direction of Kyiv.

“The Russian army fired more than 15 cruise missiles in the direction of Kyiv. Thanks to the excellent work of Ukrainian air defense, all air targets were shot down!” Serhii Popko informed.

In addition, the police of the Kyiv region informed that fragments of Russian missiles were already found in several districts of the Kyiv region.
