Russian troops shelled a city in the Dnipropetrovsk region, a woman was killed: photos

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak reported that in the morning on February 12, 2023, Russian military shelled a city of Nikopol (east of Ukraine) with cannon artillery. As a result, one woman was killed and one – injured.

“After the night’s silence, already in the morning, the Russian army fired at Nikopol. Russian troops used cannon artillery. A 53-year-old woman was killed. In addition, an 87-year-old woman was injured. She has a shrapnel wound,” explained the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

Serhii Lysak also added that four high-rise buildings, a water utility, and a college building were damaged in the city.

The day before, the Russian army hit the Nikopol district three times a day, it shelled Nikopol, Marganets, and Myriv communities with heavy artillery. People were not injured. In addition, energy objects were damaged in the Dnipropetrovsk region due to Russian drone attacks.
