Russian troops shelled 2 cities in the Dnipropetrovsk region, 2 civilians were injured: photos

The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration reported that Russian soldiers shelled the towns of Marhanets and Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region (east of Ukraine) with heavy artillery, causing casualties among the civilian population in the evening on April 25, 2023.

“In the evening, the Russian army shelled the Nikopol district. It opened fire with heavy artillery on Marhanets and Nikopol. Two women – 64 and 77 years old — were injured in Marhanets. They will be treated on an outpatient basis. 2 administrative buildings were damaged in the city. 8 private houses were destroyed, as well as 5- and 2-story buildings,” informed the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

In addition, 2 farm buildings were destroyed and 12 were mutilated. The gas pipeline and power lines were broken. The garage caught fire. Firefighters have already extinguished the fire.

“In Nikopol, a private enterprise, an apartment building, a shop and cars were damaged,” added the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

Earlier, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration said that 2 private houses and an outbuilding were damaged in the Nikopol district by Russian shelling.
