Kharkiv law enforcement officers during a meeting with UN representatives said that Russian soldiers had killed more than 1,600 civilians in the Kharkiv region, including 74 children since the beginning of the full-scale war.

“Since February 24, more than 1,600 people have been killed in the Kharkiv region, including 74 children. Investigators registered more than 6,600 criminal proceedings. All actions are carried out in accordance with current legislation,” noted the law enforcement officers of the Kharkiv region.
In addition, more than 900 human bodies were exhumed during the three months of the deoccupation of the Kharkiv region.
“We found 25 places where torture against Ukrainians was committed. They are in such settlements as Izyum, Kupyansk, Kozacha Lopan, and Vovchansk,” said the police of the Kharkiv region.
Currently, most of the occupied territories of the Kharkiv region have been liberated. 28 settlements, in which 200-300 people live, still remain under Russian occupation.
According to the police of the Kharkiv region, Russian military almost completely destroyed the largest sleeping area in Kharkiv – Pivnichna Saltivka, where 400 thousand citizens lived.
