According to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 391 children died and more than 771 were injured of varying degrees of severity.”

The numbers are not final, as work is ongoing to establish them in places of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories of Ukraine.

It should be noted that children were most affected in the Donetsk region – 400, 229 – in the Kharkiv region, 116 – in the Kyiv region, 72 – in the Mykolaiv region, 68 – in the Chernihiv region, 61 – in the Luhansk region, 55 – in the Kherson region, 47 – in the Zaporizhzhia region, and 26 – in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

For example, a 15-year-old girl was injured as a result of shelling by the Russians in Toretsk, Donetsk region on September 22, 2022.
