Russian troops hit the center of Kherson, a 20-year-old boy was killed

Yaroslav Yanushevych, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration noted that Russian military shelled the center of Kherson (south of Ukraine) on January 5, 2023. As a result, a 20-year-old boy was killed.

“Russian troops have just attacked the central part of Kherson – they hit a house. A 20-year-old man died of his injuries on the spot,” explained the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

Earlier, Yaroslav Yanushevych reported that in the morning, Russian soldiers shelled Chornobaivka and Komyshany in the Kherson region. As a result, 4 civilians were injured.

“Houses, cars, agricultural premises, power lines and gas pipelines were damaged. These are the consequences of today’s morning shelling of Chornobaivka and Komyshany. Russians covered the villages with massive artillery fire. Again, they only targeted civilian infrastructure and civilians,” noted Yaroslav Yanushevych.

According to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, 4 civilians were injured as a result of the morning attack by Russian troops.

“They received shrapnel wounds. One wounded woman was treated by medics on the spot, and 3 people were hospitalized to Kherson hospitals,” added Yaroslav Yanushevych.
