Russian troops fired 9 rockets at Ukraine’s southern city, 6 people were under rubble: photos

Oleksandr Starukh, head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration noted that Russian soldiers fired nine S-300 missiles at Zaporizhzhia (south of Ukraine) on September 22, 2022. There is destruction, 6 people were under the rubble, and one man died.

“9 missiles “arrivals” over Zaporizhzhia in the morning. The city centre, an autumn park, beloved by many generations of Zaporizhzhia residents. There is a hotel and a restaurant, and ordinary civilian objects are in the centre of the park. This morning, Russians hit there with two S-300 missiles. The object suffered significant destruction. Unfortunately, a 65-year-old man died.”

Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine also commented on the event.

“In the morning, 9 rockets “arrived” in Zaporizhzhia and its suburbs. One of them hit the hotel in central park, there are people under the rubble. There was also a hit in the electric substation. Southern communities of the Zaporizhzhia district are without electricity. The TV tower was also damaged.”

It is known that 21 houses are damaged.
