“Another Russian missile strike contributing to the global food crisis. Russian forces have destroyed the second biggest grain terminal in Ukraine, in Mykolaiv.”

Borrell said the strike runs counter to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s recent pledges for safe passage through the Black Sea from Ukrainian ports for merchant shipping.

“The disinformation that Putin is spreading to deny the accusations is getting more and more cynical.”

According to the mayor of Mykolaiv Alexander Senkevych, Russian invaders fired at an infrastructure facility on June 4. As a result, warehouses with grain meals broke out. Extinguishing the fire continued until June 6.

Earlier, Russia sold stolen grain in Ukraine to African countries. The Kremlin intends to take advantage of what has provoked the food crisis. African countries may refuse to buy stolen Ukrainian grain if the West offers them an alternative.

Uaposition memo: Mykolaiv is close to some of Ukraine’s most fertile grain-producing regions.
