“According to the information of Kherson Regional Military Administration, Russian troops attacked the Kherson region 102 times. They used artillery, multiple rocket launchers, mortars, tanks and UAVs. Kherson was shelled 36 times by Russians – residential quarters of the city once again came under the fire. Russian shells hit the boarding school building, hospital and residential buildings,” noted the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
According to Yaroslav Yanushevych, one person was killed (the woman died from shrapnel wounds on the spot), and two residents of the Kherson region were injured in varying degrees of severity due to Russian shelling on January 16, 2023.
