The Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko noted that Russian troops continue to shell the populated areas of the Donetsk region along the entire front line. One civilian was killed and two were injured in the Donetsk region on April 19, 2023.

More than 30 shellings of Vuhledar were recorded in the Volnovakha direction. Novoukrayinka also came under the fire of Grad rocket launchers — without casualties.
Kurakhove and Hirnyk of Kurakhivka territorial community, Novooleksandrivka of Hrodiv community, Marinka, Avdiivka and the surroundings of Ocheretyn community were under fire in the Donetsk direction — no information about the victims was received.
“In the Horlivka direction, 1 person was killed in Kostiantynivka. 2 two-story buildings, 8 private houses, 8 cars, as well as a school in Virolyubivka were damaged as a result of shelling and rocket attacks in the city. 2 houses were damaged in the Toretsk community, the outskirts of Chasiv Yar and Soledar communities were also shelled,” explained the Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
