The Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov noted that on January 22, 2023, Russian troops shelled the settlements of Kupyansk, Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, and Chuhuiv districts of the Kharkiv region (east of Ukraine). A woman was killed and a man was wounded as a result of shelling in the Kharkiv region.

“A 67-year-old woman was killed as a result of artillery shelling in the village of Petrivka of the Zolochiv community at around 2:30 p.m. Farm buildings and a residential building were hit,” said the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
In addition, after 3 p.m., Russian tanks fired at the cemetery in the village of Huryiv Kozachok. Graves were damaged.
The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration also noted that Vovchansk was under fire from Russian troops on January 22, 2023.
“A five-story building and a private house were hit with an anti-aircraft missile. A 49-year-old man was injured, he was hospitalized in moderate condition,” added Oleg Sinegubov.
