Russian army shelled 3 border areas in the Kharkiv region, there are civilian casualties

The Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov reported that as a result of shelling by Russian troops in the settlements of Kupyansk, Chuhuiv, and Kharkiv districts, one civilian was killed and four others were injured on January 20, 2023.

“Yesterday, Russian troops shelled Vovchansk, Kupyansk, Strilecha, Vilcha, Ohirtseve and other settlements with barrel and rocket artillery, tanks and mortars. The city of Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district, was the most affected by Russian shelling. A Russian shell hit a private house this morning. Unfortunately, a 60-year-old woman was killed. A 45-year-old woman and a 7-year-old girl were injured and hospitalized,” wrote the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

In addition, Oleg Sinegubov added that a 71-year-old man was injured in Vovchansk yesterday. He is hospitalized in moderate condition. A 27-year-old civilian man was also wounded in Kivsharivka, Kupyansk district.
