The Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov noted that Kupyansk, Vovchansk, Strilecha, Dvorichna and other settlements of the Kharkiv region (east of Ukraine) came under Russian fire on January 26, 2023.

“Today at 6 a.m., the Russian army shelled Kupyansk. Shells hit an open area near a residential building. Garages were on fire. Previously, there were no casualties. Yesterday, unfortunately, 2 civilians – a man and a woman were killed in Dvorichna, Kupyansk district. A 70-year-old woman suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized in Kozacha Lopan, Kharkiv district, and a 60-year-old woman was injured in Vovchansk,” noted the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
According to Oleg Sinegubov, the mine danger remains high in the Kharkiv region. On January 26, two men, 40 and 35 years old, were blown up on mine in a field between the villages of Chervone and Velyka Komyshuvakha of the Izyum district.
