Russian shelling damaged building of the fire and rescue department in the Kharkiv region

The Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Sinegubov reported that on March 13, 2023, Russians destroyed two vehicles of the fire and rescue unit of the State Emergency Service, as well as four private residential buildings in Vovchansk, the Kharkiv region (east of Ukraine).

Vovchansk, Kupyansk, Dvorichna, Strilecha, Krokhmalne, Hrianyvikka and other towns and villages were under the fire of Russian troops on March 13, 2023.

“In Vovchansk, as a result of Russian fire, at least 4 private residential buildings and the building of the fire and rescue department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were damaged. 2 rescue vehicles were destroyed. No casualties,” explained the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

According to Oleg Sinegubov, a 41-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man, civilians who received shrapnel wounds the day before, were taken out and hospitalized in Hrianykivka, Kupyansk district.

“On the contact line, the Russian army tried to conduct offensive actions in the areas of Hrianikyvka and Dvorichna but failed and retreated with losses,” added the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
