Two British men were attempting to pass through a checkpoint near the southern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia on Monday as they tried to rescue a family of a mother and two children from a nearby Russian-occupied village.

They were connected with the charity Presidium Network, based in England.

A woman waiting for their help received a strange text message from volunteers, after which the Russian military broke into her house.

According to Byrne, the military shouted at the woman, accusing her of “helping British spies.”

It is noted that diplomats know about it.
