“Deportation. Just imagine this number – two million people – so many of our people have already been deported to Russia. Several hundred thousand children. No one will name the exact amount at the moment – all those deported people are deprived of means of communication, their documents are taken from them, they are intimidated and they are trying to take them to remote areas of Russia to make it as difficult as possible for them to return home to their homeland.”

He also said that Russia had created so-called filtration camps, through which it forces people to pass into the occupied territory.

According to Zelenskyy, “tens of thousands of people remain there, and young women disappear there.”

Earlier, the Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly reported on the forced deportation of Ukrainians to Russia, including deportations of orphans, in particular those from Mariupol and Izum.
