Russian military terminate contracts not to fight in Donbas – Tymchuk

Early termination of contracts has been increased among servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation involved in the fighting in Donbas so they might return to Russia, head of the Information Resistance Group and MP Dmytro Tymchuk wrote on Facebook.

According to Tymchuk, one of the reasons for this termination of contracts is the delay in the payment of salaries to the Russian soldiers, which was seen in the last six months.

”The rotation of staff servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces participating in the hostilities in Donbas occurs at different times, depending on the position. The Russian personnel of the Armed Forces officers usually change every six months (some are permanently located in Ukraine and travel to the Russian Federation for short periods of time); the rank and sergeant staff arrives on ”business trips” for a period of 3-6 months, depending on the unit and its tasks,” he said.
