The Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration informed that Russian troops shelled the territory of the Zaporizhzhia region (south of Ukraine) 98 times with various types of weapons on February 20, 2023.

“During the past 24 hours, the Russian army fired 98 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops, using tank weapons, rocket and barrel artillery along the entire line of contact,” reported the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
According to the National Police in the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian soldiers shelled the civilian infrastructure in the area of the settlements of Balabyne, Huliaipole, Olhivske, Charivne, Chervone, Stepnohirsk, Stepove, Orihiv, Zaliznychne, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Malynivka, ShcherbakY, Temyrivka, PavlIvka, Magdalynivka on February 20, 2023.
In particular, Russian military attacked a residential building in Stepnohirsk. Artillery shelling was carried out on nine floors, as a result, the residential area was cut off.
“40 reports were received about the destruction of houses (apartments) of citizens and infrastructure objects as a result of Russian shelling,” added the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
