Russian military shelled the Donetsk region, 2 civilians were killed and 10 injured: photos

The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reported that an investigation has been launched into the facts of shelling by Russian troops of settlements in the Donetsk region on February 11-12, 2023, as a result of which two civilians were killed and ten were injured.

“According to the investigation, on February 11-12, 2023, the armed forces of the Russian Federation shelled the town of Bakhmut, the town of Chasiv Yar, Bakhmut district, and the village of Stupochky of the Kramatorsk district,” informed the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

Russian soldiers used artillery weapons to fire at peaceful settlements. As a result of devastating shelling of residential areas, two women were killed and ten more civilians were injured.

“The explosions damaged private houses, farm buildings and other objects. Prosecutors continue to take all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the armed forces of the Russian Federation,” added the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
