The Operational Command Pivnich (North) reported that Russian troops again shelled the border villages of the Chernihiv region (north of Ukraine). Civil infrastructure was damaged.

“Around 10:17 p.m. on April 7, 2 explosions were recorded within two settlements of Semenivka territorial community. They were caused by two guided aerial bombs launched from a Russian Su-35 fighter jet from the territory of the Russian Federation,” informed the Operational Command Pivnich (North).
According to the Operational Command Pivnich (North), residential buildings and communications were damaged as a result of the Russian attack. Information on victims and other damage to civil infrastructure is being clarified.
The Chernihiv City Military Administration added that the Russian army shelled the Novhorod-Siverskyi district in the Chernihiv region twice with mortars during the day.
“Russians probably dropped a bomb from an airplane near the village of Ivanput of the Semeniv community of the Novhorod-Siverskyi district. According to preliminary data, three residential buildings were damaged, there is no gas, water and electricity supply in the village,” said the Chernihiv City Military Administration.
