Russia shelled Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region, there are dead and injured civilians: photos

The press center of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine informed that on March 24, 2023, Russian military shelled a city of Kostiantynivka, in the Donetsk region (east of Ukraine) using S-300 anti-aircraft missile system. Three civilians were killed and two were injured.

“According to the investigation, on March 24, 2023, at 01:00 a.m., the Russian army fired at Kostiantynivka from the S-300 anti-aircraft missile complex. One of the rockets hit the building of the point of invincibility, and the other – near it,” reported the press center of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.

Three women who were internally displaced persons from Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar and the village of Opytne (Pokrovsk district) died under the rubble. Two more citizens received injuries of varying degrees of severity.

“Law enforcement officers are working on the spot. Prosecutors continue to take all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the armed forces of the Russian Federation,” added the press center of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.

UPD: 5 civilians were killed as a result of Russian rocket attack.
