Russia is stepping up its grouping of troops and equipment on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea. Near the border with Kherson region, it has a hundred pieces of Russian armored vehicles, dozens of tanks, Grad and Uragan rocket launchers, and SAM Buk.
Spokesman of the NSDC Information-Analytical Center Andriy Lysenko told a briefing on Monday.
“Over the past few weeks, on the border with Kherson region, the Russian Armed Forces concentrated at least 64 tanks, about a hundred armored vehicles and infantry fighting vehicles, a few dozens of rocket launchers Grad, Uragan and SAM Buk, precision ordnance for air and ground targets and aircraft,” he said.
Lysenko added that not far from the settlement of Chornomorske, the Russians launched a military field hospital.
The NSDC Spokesman also recalled that seven large amphibious ships are located in the Black Sea and one large amphibious ship of the Baltic Fleet.
