Russia pulling troops and equipment to northern Crimea

Russia is continuing to pull troops and equipment to the north of the occupied Crimea, to the border with mainland Ukraine.
National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) information and analytical center spokesman Andriy Lysenko said this at a briefing on Saturday.
“The Russian side continues the concentration of its forces in the north of the temporarily occupied Crimea and conducts the rotation of forces and equipment. It is known that Russia redeployed across the Kerch Strait to mainland [Russia] the mechanized infantry and artillery units that are to be sent to the border with Ukraine from Rostov region,” Lysenko said.
At the same time, units of the Russian Armed Forces are being pulled to the administrative border of the autonomy with Kherson region, he said.
