Russia moves all troops from northern Crimea to border with mainland Ukraine

All Russian troops have been redeployed from northern Crimea to the administrative border with the mainland Ukraine and currently stay near Kherson region, from the Karkinit Bay to the Arabat Spit.
National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) information and analytical center spokesman Andriy Lysenko said this at a briefing on Thursday.
“Almost all Russian military units that were stationed in the northern part of the occupied Crimea, and these are 4,000 fighters, have been moved from the settlements of Armiansk, Krasnoperekopsk, Dzhankoi, Voinka and Azovske to the administrative border with the mainland Ukraine, with all equipment and ammunition and are located in small tactical groups from the Karkinit Bay to the Arabat Spit,” he said.
According to Lysenko, the Russians continue active aerial reconnaissance, using drones.
“Border guards have recorded three of such cases in the past 24 hours. One drone was detected near Mariupol and two more on the administrative border with the temporarily occupied Crimea,” he said.
