As a result of the Russian shelling, the gas pipelines of the above-ground and underground networks were damaged. Currently, specialists are repairing them in order to preserve the heat for the residents of the Donetsk region.

“More than 200 meters of the gas pipeline were deformed. But despite the intense Russian attack, the region’s specialists managed to restore gas supply to almost 15,000 subscribers during the week,” said the press service of Naftogaz of Ukraine.

From January 2 to 9, 2023, “Donetskoblgaz” (private joint stock company for gas supply and gasification in the Donetsk region) managed to resume gas supply to more than 2,000 private sector subscribers. Also, active work continued and will continue this week in apartment buildings.
