“During all these 71 days, we have repeatedly heard official statements by the Russian leadership about the return of the so-called spheres of influence of the Russian Empire or the former Soviet Union,  and regret that some spheres of influence have been lost. Non-permission of countries to join NATO, because they belong to the spheres of influence, and so on. That is, all these statements have in fact unequivocal hints, and of course, many countries today are at risk of continuing aggression,” he explained.

According to Shmygal, if Russia had managed to defeat Ukraine, it would not have stopped and moved on.

The head of government noted that today the entire civilized world must unite, provide assistance to Ukraine and impose sanctions against Russia.
