“There is a hit to an infrastructure object. Without critical destruction and fire. All external services work on site. There are no casualties. In the Holosiivskyi District, a fire broke out in a metal warehouse building with an area of 20 square meters due to rocket debris, as well as the garage roof was damaged. No casualties. In the Darnytskyi District, two cars were damaged by rocket fragments, there were no casualties. Information is being clarified,” explained the Kyiv City Military Administration.

The spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat added that the air strike on Kyiv in the morning of January 14, 2023, was carried out along a ballistic trajectory.

“Most likely, these are missiles that flew on a ballistic trajectory from the north. The ballistics are not available for us to detect and shoot down. Specialists will study the type of rockets used by the Russian army. But it is obvious that these were either ballistic missiles or S-300 anti-aircraft missiles flying along a ballistic trajectory,” clarified Yuriy Ihnat.

Unfortunately, the Armed Forces do not have effective means of detecting and destroying ballistic missiles.
