Russia attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones, a critical infrastructure object was damaged

The Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak informed on March 18, 2023, that at night, Russian troops shelled critical infrastructure facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region (east of Ukraine) with kamikaze drones.

“This night, the Russian army attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones, probably Shahed. Three of them were shot down by military personnel from the East air command. Two more hit a critical infrastructure facility in Novomoskovsk. There is a lot of destruction,” reported the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

According to Serhiy Lysak, the liquidation of the consequences of the impact, which caused the fire, is ongoing. 4 country houses were destroyed by fire, and 6 more were damaged. People were not injured.

“The air alert lasted almost 8 hours in the Nikopol region, but it passed without emergency situations,” added the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
