The law enforcement officers of Ukraine discovered the remains of three civilians with skull fractures in a village liberated from Russian troops in the Kherson region (south of Ukraine) on November 11, 2022.

“Prosecutors as part of interdepartmental specialized investigative and operational groups continue to record war crimes committed by servicemen of the Russian army against the civilian population in the liberated territories of the Kherson region. During another inspection of the area in an urban-type village of Beryslav district, law enforcement officers found the remains of human bodies in a cellar,” emphasized the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, the remains found belong to three residents who died during the occupation of the settlement by Russian troops.
The law enforcement officers found injuries in the form of skull fractures during the initial examination of the skeletonized corpses.
The remains have been sent for a set of examinations, including DNA examinations. Law enforcement officers are taking measures to establish the circumstances, witnesses and eyewitnesses of the crime.
