Russia at the second attempt has decided to send its “humanitarian convoy” to Ukraine.
This is said in a statement by the press office of the Kremlin about a phone call of President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“The President [Vladimir Putin – ed.] noted that Russia, working together with International Red Cross officials, is sending a humanitarian convoy to Ukraine,” the Kremlin said.
It is also noted that Putin and Barroso discussed mutual sanctions.
